Email your MP – ask them to demand answers about the failed NHS Palantir pilot projects
This week, fresh evidence emerged that Palantir’s pricey software didn’t actually work very well when tested in an NHS hospital. A spokesperson for Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital told a journalist that the hospital abandoned Palantir’s software because staff decided “it didn’t meet our needs.”
But the government, gearing up to hand Palantir a £480 million contract, seems reluctant to share details about these failed pilots. In response to our campaign, a government minister has been telling MPs that the pilot projects showed the “positive impact” of Palantir’s software, and claimed that “none of the pauses were due to failures or concerns about the system”.
Something fishy is going on. Please can you write to your MP and raise concerns that they aren’t being told the full story? Ask them to write to the government and demand full transparency about what happened with the NHS Palantir pilot projects.
