The recent outbreak of racist right-wing violence in the UK was heartbreaking, disgusting and preventable.
We will leave others to comment on the root causes behind the violence, but the lies about the awful attack in Southport, and the planning of violent assaults on refugees, happened squarely on Foxglove territory: social media.
